Exterior front
  • Exterior paint colors are the original GM Conquista combo; Light Chestnut Metallic with Dark Chestnut Metallic top and lower body.
  • The Cowl Induction hood-style Hood Scoop came from Choo-Choo Customs, and was designed especially for and featured on '83-'87 El Camino SS Designer Series models available from Chevrolet dealers.
  • The local Chevrolet Parts Department provided the lower front spoiler. It was however, designed for the SS Sport Decor and had to be meticulously trim-fitted to accommodate the chrome of the Conquista Package.

Exterior tire
  • Replacing lost plastic Rally center caps (with the correct "Bowtie" emblems) was getting costly and aggravating, so I selected Chevrolet Blazer/S10 aluminum 15x7 wheels as replacements for the OEM Rally 14x6 units. The hubs had to be machined to accommodate the beefier El Camino spindles. Then the fun began in finding tires that fit the openings yet maintained the correct outside diameter.
  • Many thank's to Kinny Denton at Discount Tire in Phoenix, who found that BF Goodrich P215/60R15 Radial TA's work well. They also maintain the appearance of the OEM tires.
Exterior rear
Exterior bed
  • The Cowboy Cadillac is equipped with the optional pickup-box side rails.
  • There is a Class III towing receiver provided by Quality Bumper in Phoenix, AZ.
  • A Cargo Mat protects the floor of the bed.
  • The tonneau cover was custom fitted.
  • The official "Cowboy Cadillac" sun screen adorns the rear window providing both privacy and shade.
  • Note the addition of the high-mounted third brake light.
